Support Urban Compassion Project's East 12th Movement

Goal: Raise minimum of $50,000 by May 2025 to reclaim East 12th Street.

For years, East 12th Street has been buried under illegal dumping, neglected by the city, and left to deteriorate. Urban Compassion Project (UCP) is stepping up with a bold initiative: not just to clean up 2.4 miles of waste, but to advocate for real, lasting change. We're already started our efforts to clean and realize that this is a massive undertaking and cannot do this without volunteers and community support.

This Is More Than a One-Time Cleanup

This isn’t just another Saturday volunteer effort. This is a long-term, sustained movement. We’ll be out there week after week, day after day, working relentlessly to clean, restore, and protect East 12th Street.  Our team is committed to persistent action, not just one-time efforts, but a full-scale, ongoing mission to create lasting change.

What Your Support Will Fund

MASSIVE CLEANUP EFFORT – We need dump trailers ($1,200 per load), shovels, rakes, protective suits, trailer, gas, storage, a bobcat rental.

ADVOCACY & ACCOUNTABILITY Advocacy & Accountability – We’re launching an Ambassador Program to hold illegal dumpers and the city accountable, along with public signage and advocacy efforts.

SUSTAINABLE CHANGE Sustainable Change – Without intervention, these dumping sites will return. Your support helps establish long-term solutions so our community can live free from waste.

Keeping You in the Loop

We want our donors and volunteers to see the direct impact of their contributions. Every week, we’ll share before-and-after photos, updates on our advocacy efforts to hold the city accountable, and testimonials from residents who are seeing their neighborhood transform. Your support will fuel this mission, and we want you to witness the progress!
